Painting as...
The work in this section seeks to make connections from drawing to painting to fabric to sculpture and back again suggesting the familiar and the unknown while engaging viewers.
The work work is an extension of painting as (interactive, sculptural, and material). Can a painting be rearranged in different configurations, if so, who is/has the authority to do so? Can a painting occupy space, and does it have to include paint? These are the questions I am asking in this section while still maintaining the premise of identity through pattern.
