This painting has three color schemes weaving through the painting. They are similar in nature but unique in content. I have placed the circles (hence the title) as a place of disruption and where transparency can take place. The transparency is a fake transparency in that it is based on a single color rather than the intersection of two colors. For each transparent color I warmed, cooled, greyed or a combination to achieve the desired effect. Please enjoy.
