This drawing installation was for ARTPRIZE in Grand Rapids, MI. The installation surrounded the carousel gazebo and walk way that is part of the Grand Rapids Public Museum. I started with an abstracted musical symbol of the"natural" sign. I then overlaid a flowing series of pentagon shapes that suggest our DNA/relationship to the carousel. Lastly, I photographed the carousel itself and manipulated the images in Photoshop to suggest the energy/ euphoric feeling of riding the carousel.
