Portfolio > Installation(s)

This is a drawing I did at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in winter of 2016. I arrived with several types of tape, vinyl, artist, grafers, and mylar. The vinyl didn't work at this location but the other types of tape worked beautifully. For this drawing I started with the idea that I would lay out shapes that are found in the drawings on paper that will accompany the installation. I then gave the drawing some structure with a blue honeycomb pattern, next using several digital patterns I suggested the shapes that I was drawn to. The size, width, length were all determined by the architecture of the space. Finally, color gives the drawing energy and movement.
